London BridgeThe 2022 Navigation Workshop was held over the weekend of 25-26 June. It was broken into a mix of practical and theory sessions:

  • Saturday afterno on: Theory sessions at the Ainslie Scout Hall covering gear, route planning and course setting
  • Saturday evening (dark): Pr actical session around Aranda Bushland/Black Mountain, meeting at the end of Wangara St, Aranda at 7PM
  • Sunday morning and afte rnoon: Practical sessions around Googong Dam south, meeting at the Tin Hut Dam carpark, including a mini-roga ine with catering!

    • Partipants were divided into small groups wi th an experienced coach, based on responses to the questionnaire about expe rience and speed. All activities, both practical and theory, have been desi gned for novices through to experienced rogainers and will be tailored for individual groups.
