DESCRIPTION:\n
 (/navlight/ACTRA/21twilight/html/)\n
The 2021 three hour Twilight in th
e Trees rogaine was held at the National Rock Garden, Barrenjoey Drive, on
the western end of Lake Burley Griffin. The course covered parts of the Bl
ack Mountain Nature Reserve, Aranda Bushland Nature Reserve, National Arbor
etum, National Rock Garden and Molonglo River so you were spoilt for choice
of walking in the bush, by the lake, in the grass of the arboretum and on
bike paths. The course was designed to be a family friendly, not too diffic
ult event but there will be enough for those wanting a Saturday hit-out too
 . \n
The start of the event was at 4 pm. \n\n
Entries cost $15 full and $12
concession. Under 14 free. No solo entries for this event - teams of 2 to
 5 people.\n
We will not be catering at this event so please bring your own
picnic dinner or snack to enjoy on the grass at the Hash House site. Please
be self-sufficient for water at the Hash House and on course.\n

Final Instructions
Thank yo
u for entering the twilight in the trees rogaine. Team leaders, make sure t
hat everyone on your team reads this whole document carefully. \n
A PDF ver
sion for printing is here (/attachments/category/9/Final%20Instructions%20T
 wilight.pdf).\n
IMPORTANT\n
There will be no post-event catering to help ma
intain a COVID-safe event. Hopefully next year we get the ‘hash’ back into
the ‘Hash House’! But feel free to bring your own picnic to have post-event
 . \n
Parking is in the National Rock Garden Carpark. Overflow parking is th
rough the locked gate and parking along the verge of the unused Barranjoey
Drive. Please comply with the traffic warden’s directions and give way to a
ll pedestrians and cyclists on the cycle path.\n
COVID-19 Measures
If you h
ave recently returned from overseas, or if you have travelled from a known
COVID-19 ‘hotspot’ without a designated period of quarantine/isolation; or
if you are awaiting the result of a COVID-19 test; or if you are feeling un
well, or have flu-like symptoms, please stay home.\n
We will be using the C
heck In CBR app for this event.  Posters will be displayed at the Hash Hous
 e. Please ensure you have checked in. \n
We have tried to make this event a
s contact-free as possible. There will be no catering post-event or prize c
eremony, and organisers will also be handing out/collecting maps and tags w
ith as few touches as possible. Please drop your team-numbered flight plan
directly into the box provided. Touch points at the toilets will be cleaned
  regularly. \n
Please maintain a safe 1.5m distance from other teams at all
times - including while doing your route planning, at the briefings, at th
e start and finish, and when approaching controls. \n
We have made the navl
ight punches hands-free by strapping them to the same feature as the contro
l flag, mounted perpendicular to the feature and ready to use without needi
ng to touch it with your hands - just present your navlight wrist tag to th
e reader so the navlight flashes in the usual way. \n
Indemnity form: Pleas
e bring to the event a printed and completed indemnity form located here (i
mages/ACTRA_INDEMNITY_AND_RELEASE_standard.pdf). Check the team list for th
e event to ensure that all details for your team including category are cor
rect. If incorrect, please contact Benita Sommerville (This email address i
s being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) p
 rior to the event. \n
Ensure that all team members sign a separate indemnit
y form. Parents or guardians must sign for people under 18.  Also provide r
egistration number(s) of your car(s) at the Hash House.\n
Present your comp
leted indemnity forms at the registration desk. \n
Medical advice: All comp
etitors should consider advising their partner of any pre-existing medical
conditions (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, susceptibility to anaphylax
is) that may require first-aid action on course. This should include a desc
ription of the symptoms, the required first-aid action, and the location in
their bag of any medication (such as sugar, ventolin, epi-pen, anti-histam
